Suit Yourself was established in Edmonton in 2001. Donations of new and gently-worn business attire are distributed free of charge to local women facing barriers to securing employment, or making a transition into the workforce.
Clients are referred from a variety of social service agencies, training centers or employment programs. Volunteers act as style coaches to assist clients in selecting clothing appropriate for job interviews and employment opportunities. Over 2,000 volunteer hours are logged each year as Suit Yourself assists women in their employment journey.
